Now I'm not normally one to go raving on about MMORPG's but this game has actually intrigued me the Closed-Beta starts later today (24/4) (Woot 2am now)

It's based around the ideas of a steam based world. If you've seen animes like "Laputa: Castle in the Sky" or even "Around the World in 80 days".

Anyhow, Just reading through the game guide it's caught my interest for some reason.

There are 4 races:
Elf
Human
Pom (a small little fella good with machines)
Luife (pretty much a big beast)

And with each race there are 3 classes:
Technique
Mystery
Nature
These classes affect your starting appearance and your base traits.

And what's more so, there are four different jobs to start off with which then can change into two different jobs depending on your class:
Technique:
Fighter - Weapon Master or Defender
Mage - Rune Caster or God Caller
Rogue - Tracker or Shadow Walker
Crafter - Artifact Maker or Anumator
Mystery:
Fighter - Warrior or Paladin
Mage - Wizard or Summoner
Rogue - Ranger or Assassin
Crafter - Smith or Engineer

VERY little has been disclosed about nature, so there's nothing really to say about it.

To boot there's a rather large foray of armour, weapons, accessories, etc based in different rarity levels. So there's plenty of room for customisation.

All in all, I believe it looks alright, and as far as I'm aware.. It's free. However, since it's a Closed Beta, I don't think it's open to public just yet. But luckily enough... I got invited! Woot! :P

Sorry, it's a download game. i.e you download the client, install and play. probably gonna be a helluva long download too, considering I'm on 64Kb/s connection at the moment. lol.

I like the steam concept, it's better than what most other MMORPGs have.

It looks to be pretty good. Sorry Aryon about the 56k issue. I was on dialup myself just a couple months ago. Go for dsl when you get the chance. For a good deal that is.

I do have ADSL broadband, but the deal I'm on is that after I fill up mys usage of 12GB, then the speed decreases from 256Kbs to 64Kbs. :(

My brother came home and reclaimed his internet for the last few days, but he's finally left.... for good. But now I only have today and tomorrow to play the Beta Test. Then I'll have to start again.

Mind you, I'm only on level 13. Maybe when they release the proper version, the wording will be better to understand. Cause I think that the Beta is only a translated version of the Korean version, just with better graphics.

And Closed Beta has now closed. lol

Don't know when the Open Beta will start, but when It does, I recommend it. There's just so many tid-bits that you can use (that I don't have a clue what does, lol).

You can make nearly everything that you could normally buy, etc. Apparently there's more than the one island.. There's Three!! However normally, you won't be able to travel to those islands until you're lvl 50+. But in the Closed Beta, everything was unlocked pretty much. We could go walkabouts on another island and get pwned by a creature thats 30 lvls above you, lol.

And to finish off the beta, the GM's (gamemasters) decided to hold special events that anyone could help in.
The first was a massive boss (Tarantula King) that everyone spent about 30mins tryin to kill, we got 400000 TP out of it (TP is the points you use to uprgrade you're skills, along with SP - skill points) and a couple of items that boosted your stats like hell.
The second was a Giant robot, called Phoenix which was even harder, since it's attacks were more on radius damage. i.e. me being only lvl 18, i got obliterated. and out of that, the GM's gave everyone a phoenix mount (the bird this time). Which is pretty cool, fast. But chews through you're Neosteam like it's fat-free pudding in a weight watchers meeting. lol.

But now with the Beta being closed, everyones characters and stats were erased. So when open beta starts, I'm gonna start fresh...

BTW, only just remembered; you can make more than one character per profile... I think 4.
