Actually, it doesn't boil down to personal opinion on what signature reaches to whomever. It's the MAJORITY of the people who thinks what looks good.

Rarely have I ever seen a signature tutorial WITHOUT including ANY of the conventional techniques.

I'm not saying that I don't like the technique; of course it looks good. This is what happens when people can't think outside the box. When EVERY single signature starts looking the same. THAT'S when I start to vomit.
