After reading the thread about RPG Maker 2003. I got a little interested and went to the main webpage and just bought the new version, RPG Maker VX. And I'm starting to make a game. So I was just wondering if I could post my game, piece by piece as I progress and you all could give me feed-back.

Just download, extract then double-click the .exe file. :P

Controls (I didn't set them):
Up,down,left,right - arrow keys
Use/activate - z/Enter
cancel/Menu - x/Num 0

So far, I've done the first town, dungeon and boss(sorta boss). And it might not look all to decorative, but I'm not goin for pretty yet. Just makin the basics.

Plus.. If there are any mistakes I've made, could ya tell me. :P

I played it for a bit, seems pretty cool, and you have an interesting start to the story, with the crash and all

The only problem I have is that generally its potions that are 30 (currency) and antidotes that are 50

well I said I haven't gone into all the "details" yet, so give us a break. :P

I'm downloading it right now.

I'll post back again after I've tried it. The downside to using those programs is that they seem to output a large file size despite the fact that the game might actually be short lol.

But w/e it's manageable.

I totally need to download/play/and make games but I have no time to do that because I am playing Maplestory!!!

I love these kinds of things because I used to do it all the time..... But it wasn't like freeware, it was a demo and it expired D=

It wasn't all that big a deal, the potion thing, the money made from random encounters made up for it, and after playing a bit longer, I see why antidotes are cheaper, it makes up for the fact that the priest's healing spells have a cheaper MP cost for health, and a more expensive one for ailments

actually I need to change the amount of health the heal does. :P

EDIT: And I'm gonna keep on bumpin this thread until i get a response from you GaMeR, cause I know you said you were downloading it. :P
