Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition
This game was kickass on the SNES.

I liked the other Power Ranger game as well as it was a beat em up, but this one was way better IMO.

It's basically a fighting game with the Power Ranger bots. It's similar to Gundam Wing: Endless Duel (Japanese SNES game).

Here's a video to refresh your memories:

I never even heard of this one, but that looks pretty good. Whoever that person is sure had a good streak going there.

I played that and the other one you mentioned, PLUS another one, but I can't recall if that one was on SNES or one of the other early consoles.. Either way, I loved 'em.

RE: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition
It reminds me of Mortal Kombat with the fighting style. I may find this at the 1980 arcade.

RE: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition
I feel like I remember this but can't recall whether or not I actually ever played it or just saw it back when everyone had a SNES.

Either way looks cool, I liked a lot of the fighting games from the Megadrive and SNES days.

I looked all over the 1980 arcade, but I couldn't find it there. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place though.

RE: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition
I didn't own a Game Gear, but my cousin did.

It was a great handheld (in terms of gameplay) but poorly designed. The battery life wasn't that good if I remember correctly, and the size of it reminded me of the original Xbox controller lol.

But yeah getting back to this game, I don't think there was a Game Gear version..What you're referring to is the other Power Rangers game where it was similar to Streets of Rage (which was also good). The one I'm talking about in this thread involved the robots.

game gear wasnt big... the atari lynx was big lol. but yeah the one i played on game gear had robots, it wasnt a beatem up though, it was a fighting game. and like... if i remember correctly after you beat them 2 rounds, you had to fight them in their mechs.

I think I remember that one. One of my cousins told me about it a long time ago. Said it was good.
