The reason for posting it here is that it's supposed to be a multi-platform game. So far only the Wii version has been released (yesterday in North America to be exact).

For those of you that are not too familiar with it, what makes this game so special is the fact that it's not a retro port but instead a brand new Megaman game created using the old school 8 bit style. So don't expect any 3D visuals or any fancy crap, but instead pure old school Megaman pwnage.

yeah ive actually been waiting for this for a LOOOOOONG time. 1 through 8 ... then X... which would be 10, so i thought at least. then X2 X3 and all that. but no 9... never made since. But now 9 is coming and is going to fill all the holes up. not only that, but all these n00bs will get to see the pwnage of retro games, and how awesome a game is when it doesnt focus on amazing graphics and all that stuff that doesnt matter. pure game play. not to mention the younger gamers that are gonna get their asses pwned by 8-bit greatness... hehe... makes me so happy. maybe this will wake up alot of companies and make them focus more on gameplay... well... we can only hope.

I just finished playing the demo on Live and I gotta say this game is awesome!

One thing that did kind of disappoint me was that the gameplay was a lot like the original Megamans which is one of the great aspects but at the same time I felt it could have been more varied. Especially in terms of the level structure. However, keep in mind that I only played the trial so perhaps my evaluation isn't too fair. And I couldn't get to the boss as those elephants kept kicking my ass lol. I'm going to give it another go though just not now..

I checked it out on sites, and it is sweet. I need to get some Wii points so I can download it.
