It has all the elements you'd expect in a Mario Party game.

Let's start off with the graphics, they are decent. Better than Wii Sports though

As for the controls, I didn't have any problems with them. Some games use motion sensors while others don't and they simply require you to tilt the Wiimote over and use it as a standard gamepad.

And now for the gameplay...If you liked the previous Mario Party games you'll probably like this one. I'm not a huge fan of this sort of gameplay so I only was able to withstand playing it for like 30 or 40 minutes. I rather go straight to the action rather than roll some dice and wait for my turn while watching the computer swipe all the candy.

Anyway, it's good if your looking for a good game to play with 3+ people. It's decent with 2 human players, but it won't be much fun playing it by yourself even if you put a bunch of CPU players.

Ah.. the Mario Party genre. Mario Party definitely delivers. The only difference about this one than the rest is that "candies" are now pretty much the main currency. It's fun. However, if you're playing by yourself (like I was), then it is quite boring. I ended up beating Single Player and I recieved a few cards and redeemed them for more minigames. Some of the minigames are fun, but some are kind of horrible. For example, there is a racing game where you're in a sort of hovercar and you have to dodge rocks and other objects. That one was just plain horrible -- I couldn't control the character.

Yeah only some mini games are fun, while others are quite disappointing. I didn't like that clock game for instance.

But then again this game was made mainly to appeal to a younger audience, thus the mini games are not as good as we'd expect. However, with some human players you can overlook the quality of the mini games and make the best of it since you'll be more focused on pwning the other players :P

I have Mario Party 7, but I am getting more into action games nowadays.
