Umm yeah, I just got to disc 4 off Lost Odyssey, and it came in a little cheap paper seal, because i can only assume Mistwalker are cheap bastards. and I took it out for the 1st time, and it crashed like 8 times out of 10.

You don't seem to be alone in this problem as others have claimed similar issues while on disc 4.

I highly recommend you take it back to the store so that they can give you another copy of it. That seems to have fixed the problem for most people. Alternatively, if you can't get an exchange/refund for it you could go to those places where they offer game buffing services. As buffing the disk might fix it as well.

You could try clearing your cache.

That's a nice feature there Snake. Only thing I don't like, is you lose your updates. They need to change that.

I think it's purposely done like that so that it clears any corrupt files.

Same thing when you clear your browser cache, there might be some stuff there that might actually be worth keeping to reduce loading times, but you'll have to lose it in order to get rid of the crap.

Uh, that's the point in having it. The updates fill up your cache, and as Gamer said, some may be corrupt, and it causes hiccups.

I'm glad i'm not the only one, I'm gonna try taking it to get cleaned today, I heard it's because of the crappy paper seal disc 4 comes in.

If it still crashes, then I'll try Snake's Idea.
