Well, Raidchan is DDOS'ing 420chan, 4chan, 711chan, Anonib, Anontalk, Encyclopedia Dramatica, and even 2ch.ru (yes they're attacking the Russians).

ED and 4chan I could understand, but taking down the others seems a little overzealous.

7chan is still up, but the server is so unstable it basically loads as fast as if it were down anyhow.

So basically, people are thinking the Internet is serious business.

I hope the Russians firebomb the Raidchan IRC server.

Really, DDOS'ing isn't hard or complicated, anyone can do it. Likely there's a bunch of people DDOS'ing Raidchan's IRC and forum server.

This is not because the admins do not care about their websites. I have been unable to go to the imageboards I regularly use, sans here. Hacking requires a SLIGHT bit of knowledge about computers. All these kids are doing is being skiddies about it and downloading programs to help DDOS'ing (it's literally as easy as typing in an IP Address) and thinking they're getting OMG EPIC WIN EPIC WIIIIN XD because of it.

Also for the record, getting an Admin password isn't hacking either. I'm tired of people who can install simple programs do shit and call themselves "Hackers", hacking requires knowledge of program code, tons of other shit, and a relatively high knowledge about how shit works. These are script kiddies, they run a script, and do shit. No hacking involved.

They're no more "hacking" than someone is "cooking" when they reheat an old meal by throwing it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Anyone can do it.

It is war between stupid geeks that feel they are the best at what they do. And who cares about them anyway, a lot of them are a bunch of fat slobs they can't find their own navel amongst all the sitting eating Cheetos and pork fat.
