Okay guys. My pc is a lil bit old. 3 or 4 years old. So i cannot Play The newest games Yet. I wonder what do i need to upgrade so i can play Crysis. Ill give some info about my Hardware:

- I Run a Dell Dimension 9150 and have Vista Home Premium Edition 32 - Bit.
- 2 processors running - Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz
- 2.99 GHz
- RAM 1022 MB :(
- ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series :(

I think i need new Graphic card and some more Ram, so can any one tell me what it costs for those parts i need and for what parts i need? I want to be able to play Crysis withouth any lagg :) Plz ill be verry gratefull.

first im gonna ask are you running a server motherboard as 2 processors in one pc insnt normal except for core duos and quads

Here's a protip, don't get Crysis, if you're looking for Foliage pornography, go order a salad at Applebees.

Secondly, lose Windows Vista. Get a Gamer-Edition version of Windows XP that can run DX10 to free up Processor and RAM space.

Thirdly, if you're looking for a decent DX10 game, get World in Conflict, Company of Heroes, Age of Conan, Bioshock, or EvE: Online. But not, I stress this from being a sad owner of it DO NOT GET CRYSIS! It's absolute trash. It looks pretty, but it has below average gameplay (the power-switching is fun at first, but later becomes a job in itself), poor storyline, and poor online gameplay. The only good thing it has going for it is the Graphics.

Fourth and last, http://www.newegg.com.

If you're motherboard can handle it, add another 2GB of RAM.

Also, if you don't plan to add at least another 1GB of RAM you may want to consider going back to XP as Vista sucks at handling games with only 1GB.

As for prices, it depends on the type of RAM and what video card you want. That site NewEgg has some pretty good prices. You may want to check the prices at your local retailers first though in case it's cheaper, but if not, then give NewEgg a try.

I personally recommend the ATI Radeon 2600 XT. I could run Crysis on Med-High even with my single-core processor and 1.5gb of RAM.

You might not have to get a card.
I am running off of a 5 year old Northgate notebook, (which is the bomb by the way) and I don't play many games, but the ones I have, ran just fine. Thats with the usual 512mb RAM, 2.4 ghz processor
