Snake, you remind me of a younger version of my ex-husband. The only difference between you and him is the fact that I don't have a problem with you.

And you being like him isn't necessarily a bad thing. I have several reasons why he's my ex, but it's definitely not because of his sense of humor and wit.

I think it's probably my cold demeanor, supreme intellect and give-a-f*ck attitude combined with my classy tastes and occasional upbeat humor, then throw in my amazing looks too, which never cease or relent in their angelic abilities, never even mentioning I'm hung like an horse with elephantitis.

Or, you know, it could just be the humor.

It's a combination of many things that remind me of my ex-husband. But no worries. I was giving you a compliment when it comes to your wit. You've got that, for sure.

And speaking of afros... you say it's a cruel world for a white guy with a 'fro - what about a Mexican with a fro? My most recent ex-boyfriend had one. It was... interesting to say the least. It looked better than his current choice of hairstyle though - he got a mohawk (his hair is naturally curly) but he's also got a goatee that looks like one a biker would wear. This in turn made him look like a rogue biker gone punk/techno. It's... odd.

You see though, I don't neccesiraily have an Afro by choice, my hair naturally comes in super-curly. I mean super-curly.

So I don't get much choice in the matter, would to have had a choice though, I can't really say I wouldn't want an afro, but it's just weird because people will walk up to me and ask "Hey how long does it take to make your hair do that?", to which I always reply "I don't do jack shit".

Actually I was walking down in a town called Benton Harbor recently (pretty ghetto area, on the outskirts of Detroit, population is something like 98% black) and was walking with 2 of my older friends to their car, when these 2 thug-looking huge black dudes walk past, and one of them turns around and says something like "Daaayyyyyyuuuuum, that hair be pimpin' nigga" to which his buddy goes "Yeeeeeaaaaah son".

Needless to say, that was pretty cool. I don't think they realized I was a nerdy white kid, but w/e.

Oh, I know exactly what you're talking about. Chris used to get it all time time, except it wasn't in random areas, or the barrio (where we lived) for that matter. He had a job that required attention from the crowd - he was an entertainer at a nightclub. Basically he did pop and lock dance moves, raved, and also sang karaoke. So people ALWAYS commented on his afro.

Yeah the thing is, I'm dreadfully quiet in public and still get it for some reason.

I dunno, I guess when you're just as gangster as me, it comes with the territory. Who knows.
