I still dont see where everything explodes off of the screen. Sure, I am getting hdtv, mainly because I can hang it on the wall, and my tv is old.

Fair enough, but i dont think turning up the colour or the sharpness is quite the same as HD.

Like i said earlier there is no big deal about HD its just the new standard for tv.

You need to remember that CRT TVs used to be realy expensive before the LCD and plasmas came along.


If you could look it up im sure a 32" Crt back in the day would have been roughly the same price as a 32" LCD is today.

Also

When DVD's came out they were alot more expensive that a Video tape.


So all your arguement comes down to is the price.

Watching a movie in full HD is different than watching DVD. People are different Deadpool. If you dont like HD then thats your problem. For me, I love quality.

That's an unfair comparison. CD is the standard, cassette is not, DVD is the standard, VHS is not, as for everything else, they're a completely different item, comparing a car to a DVD player is like comparing an apple to a space shuttle; most of us stopped making comparisons like that when we were toddlers. You're comparisons are null and void, because you fail to understand the concept of CURRENT MARKET STANDARD. Currently, all movies are made in DVD, but all movies are NOT made on Blu-Ray. Until ALL movies are made on Blu-Ray, and NOT on DVD, it is not the market standard. Simple enough, monkey man?

And yes, watching a movie in HD is different; however not all of us need to see King Kongs nipple hair in 1080p. Some of us common folk don't need to be spoiled rotten like you. We learn to make due with what we have, and can forget simple problems in favor of saving much more money for things that matter, IE bills, food, water, heating/cooling.

No, it comes down to; PS3 lacks good games, PS3 lacks online abilities (by comparison to the Xbox 360), the PS3 is expensive, the PS3 is hard to program and produce games for, and the PS3 is a failing console, third place in the race of 3. The only thing the PS3 SUCCEEDS at is Hardware specs, which as I've said before is completely and entirely useless when you don't have GOOD GAMES.
