hahaha true. Not much gameplay when you skip the cutscenes. Felt a bit empty as well. Not like MGS3 were it was all fun. Jungles and hilltops. You had to feed yourself (I missed that this time around). It could have been a better game. But I think this was more geared towards long-time fanboys. That's all.

Metal Gear Solid 3 will forever stand as one of the top 3 best games I've ever played in my life.

It did everything Metal Gear Solid 2 did, but made it better. Metal Gear Solid 4 is good, but it just doesn't do the same things for me that Metal Gear Solid 3 did.

MGS3 was a masterpiece of game design.

I don't mind cutscenes so much, but I like cutscenes that allow me to interact with it. When a scene closes, allow me the freedom to make several different choices to start with to affect outcomes, and heck, change the cutscenes. Dang I need to make that kind of game a reality.

Just please don't turn out like that guy on Snakes post ><

Unfortunately, it is not an excuse. It is a reason to buy the PlayStation 3. Only people like you who cant afford quality will consider the Blu-Ray as something worthless. Blu-Ray is the new technology, everyone loves high quality movies.

But since you cant afford a HD TV nor a PlayStation 3 you just bash it to make yourself feel better. Watching HD movies is different than watching SD movies.

PlayStation 3 is conquering. It oversold the 360 in Europe. Now all left is North America.

Uh, Mohd? No it's not. That link you gave us doesn't actually provide any numbers. Yeah, PS3 has sold 5 million units, it says nothing about 360 units sold, which I imagine would be close to the 5 mil mark anyway.

Also, on the subject of Blu-Ray and "not being able to afford" a PS£, I could if I wanted to. But I don't. Because the only exclusive game on it even remotely worth looking at is MGS4, and I don't actually like the MGS series. The rest of the game selection is utter dross, and in case you've forgotten, it's a gaming console, without games, it's not going to do well, and as I speak, there are no decent exclusive games.

The only worthy upcoming titles for the PS3 that I see are Resistance 2 & Little Big Planet, besides that I see no other reason to get a PS3 aside from MGS 4 which apparently was highly overrated. That was expected though, Halo 3 anyone?

Although I have to say Halo 3 had a lot of hype for what it ended up being, I still do enjoy playing it. If I had the money, I would have been headed to Dallas right about now for MLG with my former team. :(

As for the rest of this thread, I took the time to read through the first couple of pages, which consisted of musical chairs between Deekz and Snake.

I do believe that Snake ended up in the final chair.

I'm a fan of the 360, but that doesn't mean I am not open to other consoles. I like the 360 for the games that it has, and the ones I play the most are FPS.

However, I'm wanting to try Little Big Planet for the PS3, and definitely want to have fun on the Wii, which one of my roomies used to own before I moved out of his house about two years ago.

I like the 360 for its games as much as the Wii. I am seriously considering getting one next year after they finalize the new chip.
