Well I think every 360 gamer is over the idea of it not being on the 360. We'll all just do what Snakes done, buy a PS3, play MGS4 and maybe another game or two, then put it away for a long time, or sell it on eBay.

Actually it has a fair chance of being on the 360.

Just like how Metal Gear Solid 1 was on the PC as well, and how Metal Gear Solid 2 was on the Xbox as well as the PS2.

The myth behind "LOL IT WOULD TAKE 12 DISKS FOR THE XBOX 360 TO PLAY MGS4" is a load a bullshit, and anyone with a minute grasp of simple game design and hardware knows this; the majority of the space on the Metal Gear Solid 4 disk are uncompressed textures/audio files, because the PS3's drive is as fast as a dead horse in molasses (lol x2 speed), so at the very most, it would take 2 disks. And I wouldn't complain over that.

Not to mention it wasn't even that good. The Nostalgia was all there for the fans, but other than that, it was ruined by gameplay that discourages stealth and promotes third person shooting, and that ruined the game in my opinion, making it a 7/10 title at best.

I wouldn't mind if it came on 4 or 5 discs, I don't see how PS3 fans can even use that as an excuse...I mean how many 360's owners would buy MGS4 if it came out on the 360, and it had 5 discs?

No he means if a person really wanted it, they wouldn't care if it came on 5 discs. But most 360 fans wouldn't buy it even if it was on 360.

Well that's up for grabs. I'd actually put money on many people buying it, but a large majority of those who did being disappointed, because MGS4 just turned into a nostalgia-fest with mediocre gameplay and many new elements that ruined the pretense of the original game.

Also, long cutscenes. ARGH. If you're not a fan, they're not going to do anything for you, and it WILL catch on your nerves when after every 10 minutes of gameplay comes another 30 minute cutscene.
