Oh shush. They've been disbanded since the 90's, and whatever record label hosted them doesn't even make/sell their shit any more. So the only way to get it IS by downloading. Not to mention if I read the rules correctly, they're regarding pirated GAMES, not music;

We're a tiny 10-20 active member forum, and I've been on 10 or so bigger forums that don't give a crap. Being tiny and strict is like being fat and stupid. If this forum wants to become populated it's going to have to ease up on crap like that.

Actually crap like that can get us shutdown if the copyright owner complains (which is not the band but their record label) and there's no need to disrespect him for reinforcing the rules as that's what he's supposed to do. Also, the reason why those big forums don't apparently give a crap is because their main Administrator is probably not even aware of it, and since there's so many posts it's easy to hide stuff like that without any problems. Or it could be that the site is not hosted in the US, this site is hosted in the US therefore I have to follow Uncle Sam's laws whether I like it or not.

...why don't you just buy it? thats a lot of trouble you gotta go through for just music.

Because I don't feel like paying 30-100 dollars on Ebay for it. Again, they've been disbanded since the 90's. New CD's haven't been produced for a decade.

I'd consider buying it if it actually supported the band at all. But A: it doesn't, all it will support is some greasy fat guy in Oregon who happened upon an unopened box of 90's CD's, and B: anyone who knows anything about the music industry knows that most bands that don't have hundreds of thousands aren't actually making much money off of CD sales; the record industry makes the mass majority of money off that. Bands make most of their money from Concerts and Shows. tl;dr Music moralfaggotry is stupid.

Anyhow, regardless if it's a rule, it's stupid. I've never in my life, and the countless forums I've been on ever heard of a forum being shut down/charged because of a rapidshare link for some music, not to mention music that isn't even owned or supported by there own record label since the 90's. It's ridiculously paranoid. There's a better chance that a f**king lightning bolt/howitzer shell/semi truck/asteroid will hit the room the server is housed in.

First off, Before I joined this forum I was part of another gaming forum...some guy posted Piracy links..demonoid..ect. actually it was the owner of the forum now that i think about it.

They were shut down...I think they are back up now but with restrictions...and they had less members then we did when it was shut down. www.1deag.com

So if you dont like it, you know where the door is, I like this forum too much to watch it get shut down by someone who thinks they are above the rules.
