Sounds good. I don't like too many ways to rate a game by number.

then after 9.9 it would be 10, 10 being the highest rating?

Hmmm..Alright, that format is fine for now.

I'll probably make it the official format as it seems the most logical one to use. So for now it's OK to use it.

I'll keep the thread open for a bit longer to see if anyone has any better suggestions. If not, then I'll lock this thread and update the guidelines in that section.

One suggestion I would make, I say the 1-7 should not be anymore besides like 1.0, 1.5, 2.0. And when you reach eight, then switch it to allow 8.1, 8.4 etc.

Hmm, not a bad Idea. It'd probably stop new people who wanna be idiots in their reviews by giving 'em a 0.1 or something.

And yeah, probably a good idea to make it so it can't go BELOW 1. Because as for the paragraph above, a score of below 1 is ridiculous (even though I don't think ANY game should have a rating of approximately 1) because there's bound to be an upside of any game no matter what it is.

Yeah 1 should be the minimum, and I like that idea about 1-7 having only whole numbers but from 8+ to allow decimals.
