RE: How about a....
I would... It's just that I'm not really good at stringing words together into the right things to make a good review... (Trust me.. I've tried in the past.. :P)

RE: How about a....
Also, to anyone who decides to submit a review please read the stickied thread in that section! As it contains very important information.

I submitted a review last night, and will probably be reviewing a couple of more titles when I get more time. I'm thinking of allowing multiple reviews on the same game (2 max though) so that we get multiple opinions on the game being reviewed. What do you think?

RE: How about a....
Well it'd be difficult to have ONLY 2 reviews of the one game. For example, if there was quite a few reviews, enough for say... 2 pages. If someone just played a game that they loved and want to review it that badly and right away, then they may not look in the other page(s) to see if it's been done twice already. I guess you could have it so they can post their review on the same thread, but there still isn't stopping anyone from posting their own "mini-review" in those threads, unless of course you lock them after two reviews are posted. But then this runs into the problem of not allowing others to comment on those reviews. etc, etc...

RE: How about a....
Well what I could do is a make a "master thread" with a list of ALL the reviews posted.

And then members would visit that thread to either find a review to read or to see if the one that they want to write has already been written.

You could always put it on an approval bases where they have to be reviewed by you before they are open for discussion. That way if there is already a review/discussion about the game it can be merged or whatever needs to be done.

Touché. :P

That's a good idea, as is your's Spek. Maybe implement both of 'em.
Having the "master thread" can have a list of the games reviewed with links to those reviews, and before they're actually open for discussion, GaMeR get's to check to see if it's a satisfactory review... i.e. that it doesn't just say "This game was good, it defines good. 9/10" lol.

RE: How about a....
Master Thread is a good idea.

Can we vote for the whole scoring system?

Personally My vote goes for "% out of 100"
I'm not liking the whole out of 6 thing, and I've never been a fan of "out of 5 or 10".
when i see reviews that get scores of 6.5 i see it as 65%...

RE: How about a....
Alright, I'll make a poll soon, I just need some more suggestions for the voting scores.

So far we have:

6/6
100/100 (Percentage)
10/10
5/5

I think thats all we need?

or perhaps 8.5 out of 10?

Edit: I'll be working on a few reviews over the week hopefully.
