Home
is it just me...or does Home look more like a social networking group site, apart from without the site and some nice graphics?

The more I see and hear about it, that's what i get? I always thought Home was suposed to be some kinda xbox live marketplace type thing only with mii's?

is any PS3 owner here, looking forward to Home?
If so, why?

RE: Home
If that is it, it looks pretty neat. But they should have left the bowling out, it looks a bit like copying Wii Sports bowling.

RE: Home
Apparently it's supposed to be some virtual hangout with Sim-like characters.

Wikipedia Wrote:Photographs and video released by Sony show Home users meeting in a plaza/town square type of area. They also show users in their own apartments with their own choice of decor and furnishings. Users can also invite other users to their apartments.

In the world outside of the player houses, players can meet and chat with other community-members. One can invite their friends, hang out and communicate via voice chat, or normal text chat, listen to music, play a game or exchange content. People who enter each other's "home" (called a "HomeSpace") can stream the host's music and videos from their HDD. Videos are viewed via virtual Sony TVs, such as the BRAVIA. Photographs can be viewed via a virtual picture frame.

RE: Home
That can be done anywhere. Should of been a place to find people you can fight against.

RE: Home
According to the Wikipedia entry you could challenge another player there but I don't think your Sim-like characters can actually fight.

And the movie/picture sharing is currently not available on either PSN or Xbox Live, so it's a new feature.

RE: Home
sounds kinda good and meh at the same time... I wonder if Sony will do anything amazing with it, that passes the expectations.

I stopped watching as soon as 3 Days Grace started playing.

But from what I can gather, it's just some thing where you walk around and do shit. Doesn't seem amazing.
