Have all game based movies failed?
cuz so far i have yet to notice a good movie to come out based on a game franchise..well except for the Mario Bros of course. ^_^

Failures like:Silent hill, and Doom run off the top of my head because of bad story lines and poor acting...that could be why they kept bringing the Halo movie to a screeching halt. but thats of course just my opinion. =\

what do you guys think?...

That was CG though, and American directors went NOWHERE near the script. Thank god.

No, there has not been, and will never be, any good American-made game-based movies.

The sun will sooner implode, than any good game-based movie is made. I mean, look at how horrible movies from Hollywood already ARE right now, you can't expect them to make a game-based movie good if they can't even make NORMAL movies good.

I'd stop watching nerdy shit like Anime and such if Hollywood actually had any originality. Sadly, the only decent plots and stories I've found recently have been from Anime and such, so too bad, you snooze you lose Hollywood.

Honestly, why do people consider anime "nerdy", what's the difference between it and normal fiction television? What they're drawn.. OH NO! NOT THAT! So is the picture hanging on my wall, but you don't see people calling it "nerdy".

It's nerdy because it's nerdy. Regardless of what you or I consider it to be, it still remains that the cultural norm considers it nerdy. Sure, to you, it isn't. To me, it really isn't either. But it, like Star Trek conventions and D&D, are still considered by the mass populace to be nerdy and geeky, so hence, majority rules, it is.

But w/e.

Also, $10,000 dollars to the family of the man who murders Uwe Boll.

Because the level of interest most pple get to anime shows...example: Naruto. It is pretty well known and what i consider a nerd is someone who wears those goofy lookin symbols from the show...

i used to watch anime too..but not religiously. lol

its just how you look at the box anime has been placed in i guess.
