well i can play el. uitar too. i think that this game is awful for 2 main reasons: 1rst: if you haven't got the guitar it's too expensive and 2nd : it has nothing to do with real electric guitar... you just have to press the right buttons the right time... there are a billion other games like this free in the internet...

I was mainly wondering about the "graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan" part.

Well while it doesn't really simulate a real guitar, it's just supposed to be a game.

As for the guitar accessory, yeah it's a bit pricey, but you can play without it. However, it's not as fun with the controller.

It may not be real guitar, But it is defently no walk in the park GH games.
I have GH2 GH3 and Rockband and GHphone and Fret of fire and i play real guitar. I think GH does help with rythem and it's not boring and frustrating as learning a song from scratch is.
I honestly have sat down tryed to learn somthing then can't get my head around it, go play the song on GH or FoF or somthng, And it make me enjoy the song, I can play pretty much any song on expert and it is a good work out, then i sometimes find it easyier to go back to real guitar and get passed the bit i was mind blocking.
Any real guitarest "should" love this, I mean when yo play guitar and pull off the best solo or what not, the only people who know how awsome it was is other guitarest and musians.
This is a way to show off your skills with points and multiplayer. and i tell you It's so much fun to beat your musically challanged friends and stop them saying, " Oh you can play the solo to ..and justice for all on real; guitar? I could do that if i played guitar" then show them on GH haha.
