apparently it seems that Microsoft and Nintendo are both in a "who owns what" fight right now with the popular FPS game, golden eye 007 for the N64. Microsoft was planning to launch an XBLA version of the game.

The problem seems to be that RARE has already developed an arcade version of the game with Microsoft but has failed to gain the rights from Nintendo, who originally published the game. The fight led to the game to be locked in a "No Mans Land" where neither side can publish anything. the whole thing seems to be going no where but down...

Whoever can make the best of the game and still manage to keep it's original feel should get rights to it IMO. I have a feeling it will probably be Microsoft who can do that as they tend to enhance classics. They've often added some bonus content to such games in the past and wouldn't be surprised if they added online play to this great N64 classic. Plus online play would be superior on Xbox Live.
