RE: gaming laptop
It's not Cactuar lol.

Anyway, I really suggest checking out your local PC stores and finding something in that price range. If you want, go there and jot down the models of the PCs that they have and post them here. That way we have a better idea and can help you narrow it down.

RE: gaming laptop
Just make sure none of those used ones are stolen if you catch my drift.
And you should ask if they have new hard drives. You don't want to use the old hard drive, you don't know what the other owner could have left on it. Bank account numbers perhaps. *cops breaking your windows to get in*

RE: gaming laptop
That laptop Deadpool posted will probably allow you to run Counter-Strike 1.6 and Condition Zero smoothly, but not CS:Source.

The video card it brings is rather old and only has 32 VRAM. I suggest you get try to find a laptop with at least 128+ VRAM and the brand of the video card should be ATI/NVIDIA. Stay away from Intel graphics cards for gaming.

RE: gaming laptop
You can't upgrade laptop video cards..Well maybe you can but you'd have to be skilled. Plus it'd be expensive and it's not worth doing IMO.

Is there a Best Buy around your area? They have this $500 laptop on sale that has pretty good specs for the price: http://tinyurl.com/5jrwyu
