cant believe no one has made this yet.

Ive been playing FFXI for awhile, on and off... mostly off cause im broke but i absolutely love this game, anyone else?

my brother has over 150 hours logged on FFXII

is that the one that's Playable on the 360?

there should be more console MMO's.

This game is available for the 360/PS2/PC.

However, I hear that the PS2/PC versions are better than the 360 version.

I don't play it, but I know a guy who does. Apparently he found it amusing as I heard he spent real $ buying in game money lol..

actually the 360 version is pretty awesome, i own both the 360 and pc versions, if anything i think the ps2 version would be the worse cause you have to buy a hard drive for it and all that stuff. its pretty kool, there are 5 different races, TONS of jobs you can do. In my opinion its more of a hardcore mmo than others and even the biggest WoW addict in the world (my friend Humpty) admitted that its way harder than WoW. the lvl cap is 75, you lose exp when you die (more depending on what lvl you are) and it really sux when you delvl. and it takes alot long to lvl as well, example: a lvl that might take you a week to get in WoW, will take you a month to get in FFXI. I think its an awesome game. and GaMeR as for your friend spending real money for gil in the game lol yeah i know a few ppl who did that and its like illegal or something cause its cheating lol. but i dont blame him cause its tough getting money in that game, if you dont farm then you will be poor and basically boned.

I'd probubly buy it if it wasnt for the fact my xbox is rarely online.

In my opinion. Having a FF game that is ONLY online kills it for the fans. I myself am a fan of the FF series and was really down when this game was announced. Because I only actually got the internet at home about a week ago and since then, I've only been able to use the internet when my brother isn't on it (i.e. when he's at work or at a mates), since it's his internet. So when I heard that the next FF installment was only online, it put me off FF for a while.
Mind you, I must admit that FFXII wasn't really that exciting, so I don't know if I would find it good or not, but still. The fact of the matter is that having it as an online only game would've lost them a fair few supporters of the franchise. Cause I can tell you now, it almost lost me.

i can understand that i guess, but i think its alright cause im not a fan of the FF series, the only single player FF game i like is 8 and im not even a giant fan of that one. but 11 being online made me a bigger fan because i was not a huge fan. i dont know as far as im concerned is, if someone isnt a fan of 11 then... dont play it lol.

Now that I think about it, I don't really have much of a right to pass judgement on it since I haven't played it. For all I know, I might like it better than all the rest (however, from what I HAVE heard of it, I'd highly doubt it).
But my opinion on it being an online ONLY game sucks, still stands.

oh yeah man i completely understand that, im just a whore for online games lol. but i do respect you for being the kind of gamer that doesnt judge a game before you play it.
