Final Fantasy IV DS
FF IV comes to the DS in full 3D! From the screenshots, the graphics look quite impressive. I remember playing the SNES version a while back (which I never got a chance to beat). I'm excited about this remake and am looking forward to it.

The US Release date is July 22, 2008.

Also, the Japanese version is already out. So you could import it if you really want it.

Trailer:

If you want to see some of the boss battles for the Japanese version, you'll find them on YouTube.

ah.. number four, took me a while to remember which one this was.. If I remember, this one was actually rather short storywise, but how hard the enemies at the last place are, kinda makes up for it since it takes ages to train to the point you can beat 'em.

Looks great. Graphics are quite good compared to most DS games.

RE: Final Fantasy IV DS
I'm very much excited to play this game but i game so slow and cheaply that I probably won't even start the GBA version until the DS version is twenty bucks.

RE: Final Fantasy IV DS
My friend has it and said it was impressive but he hasn't gotten around to beating it yet as he likes to pace himself with it.

As for the price drop since this is a good title it might take a while, I know Mario Kart DS has held it's rather high price (for the age of the game) for some time now..

RE: Final Fantasy IV DS
yeah I gave up on mario kart and bite on a $5 sale and I'm still waiting for something with AC:WW, and New Super Mario Bros. Mark my words FFIV is a remake of a classic RPG. People don't do RPGs like that anymore eventually it will drop. and not just before it's clearanced there will be ample opportunity to pick it up cheaper just like FFIII. Ring of Fates will for whatever reason stay up. The Nintendo stuff can stay high but FF is third party. they will yield to the market eventually. same with Ace Attorney 4
