What's your favorite PS2 game? PS section needs a bump (no new threads), and the PS3's sucknessity isn't going to remedy that problem. Plus the PS3 is losing its backwards compatibility, so that makes it suck even more.

My favorite PS2 game would have to be Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.

That game rocked me so hard, plus with how much FFX/X-2 sucked, it was a nice RPG.

It has more twists than the Village. Seriously, some of the twists and turns not even a suspense move junkie could've predicted.

So you're on this planet, being a total teenage slacker with raging hormones, you know, the usual Japanophile RPG business, then war breaks out between you and this rival bunch of Aliens.

So you leave, land on some planet that's going through its medieval stages and has no idea of outer space or other species. So you help them out a bit, then the aliens catch up with you and you have this huge space alien tech vs. medieval tech battle.

Then, you're riding this dragon with this laser you jerry-rigged onto its back, shooting at this 2 kilo long Alien spaceship (think Star Destroyer, but more red and slightly organic looking), when some beam rips apart the ship. All these weird creatures start pwning you and the aliens, like mad.

So as your race AND the aliens are getting there asses kicked, you find out you're some key to a weapon (more japanophile RPG bullshit), and fight to get to this barren planet that has a key to another realm.

So you make it to this other realm, and find out....
...
...

...


...

That your reality is basically some reality show created by some super-superior race for entertainment. So the guys are like "lol sorry evil killing robot creatures are a virus, sorry for committing genocide on half of your universe lol", and you go back with this key and fight some more.

That was the moment when I dropped my controller and called suicide hotline.

They linked me to a office in Pakistan.

I told them I was going suicidal because of Star Ocean.

They laughed, then asked happily if I knew how to drive a truck.

I hung up.

But long story short, I never finished Star Ocean. But I want to, now.

Splendid.
I played 5 minites of that game, and got bored.


I've got to say Theres nothing on the PS2 that absorbed me the way other consoles did, IE gamecube.
Kingdom hearts 2 though.

For me it's various titles, but they're mainly fighting games: Soul Calibur 2, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, War of the Monsters, GTA:VC, and most of the Street series.

Soul caliber is intense, But it's on The Xbox and gamecube too.

My favorite PS2 game would have to be....... GT 4, My second favorite would be GTA San Andreas

Katamari Damacy. I just LOVE pointlessness.

Silent Hill 2 would be favourite PS2 game, then God of War 2, then Kingdom Hearts 2...

Oooo I liked SH2.

MGS2, Silent Hill 2, RE4, FF12, GOW it has a few more but im too tired to think now...
