i dont think shadow would count as an original. i mean he didnt show up till dreamcast.

I would say Sonic, but Sega ruined him with a lame voice and "cool" attitude.

Orginal characters I'd go with.....Doctor Robotnik ...but again they screwed him up by changing his name to Eggman...WTF!?

I hate all the new "cool" characters. Don't get me started on Shadow.

The reason they changed to Eggman was something about Robotnik being a rather offensive word in some country.

What's right with shadow?

I mean it's cool if you like him but as far as I can see, Sega needed something cutting edge on the cool factor and made Shadow and failed, I mean First Shadow cuz he is a black hedgehog and now Sliver because he is sliver, whats next? Multicolor the Hedgehog? Rainbow?

Big the cat is also dumb and lame.
