Empires Of Galldon has been undergoing heavy maintenance and support over the past 2 years to sculpt the game into what it is today...
Yet the recent down-time from January to March left members feeling like it was the end.

Ressurected from my old laptop, I found the core files needed to get it up and running, and have even made some changes to the original layout (In other words, Modernizing It.) and have come back with great comments about the site look, feel and gameplay.

Ticks are set at 5 minutes, so there is no need to keep your browser up, simply maintain your empire and fend off any players trying to get in your way with brute force and the rest is done on its own.

Game Features :

Here's some constructive criticism:

*Get a better logo, at least make it reflect something related to the game. Those browser games are plain as it is, adding a decent logo helps it stand out a bit.

*There's no need for two forums in your case as one is highly inactive, so it's best to get rid of the inactive one and in the active forum add some new sections containing the important stuff that was on the forum you got rid of.

As for the game itself, I'm not fond of browser based strategy games so can't comment on the gameplay.

Indeed, thats where I lack skills the most would be artwork... I don't have photoshop or anything facy, pretty much everything you see was made in either GIMP or Paint.. Kinda sad I know, but thats what happens when you make a game with little to no foundation as far as technology and resources...

As for the forums, I see what you mean, there really is no use for the Home-Base Media forums, I'll consider what you've told me, I'll just link the Home-Base Media forums to the Public Forums I have In-Game...

lol, yeah im still kinda working on the "noob" help and walkthrough as its going to take time to sum it up and get it all worked out alright.

As for the banner GaMeR, wow, is all I can say.
Made a hell of an improvement from the last logo that was up...
I have a feeling I can deal with this until I get pro with GIMP and create nice elaborate images with trees and stuff... And hopefully in the long-haul create a strategic "Gameboard" like a 2-d overhead combat system for the game.

Also, I got rid of that horrible jumble of mess that I had at the top with the game clock on top, then just text below it on top of each other saying whether or not they had Empire News or Mail...... Sooooo, I kinda fixed it up, see? :)



Then I moved on to changing the page background up a bit and giving it more color, along with a blending game background with the Empires Of Galldon v5.0 inscripted behind it for hopes of a big v5 launch.

Made my first GIF animation today, its kind of simple, but it game the game more feel than just a big ol' lime green link that said "You have a new message"



Hah, GIMP really does have alot of good features, and I made this in about 2 minutes, lol...

Yeah it stands out more, but the font is rather choppy..
