I got CS 1.6 as well as Condition Zero, I don't play that often though.

But I'll add you on Steam when I get on.

I am a CS:S Whore, I also play Team fortress 2, COD: 4, and some others, but yeah deffinantly hit me up on steam sometime.

but CSS is better overall IMO.

I used to be pretty good at CS till I had to spend more time working and less time gaming...

I bought CSS about 6 months ago and have been playing it regularly, it's not a bad game, certainly modernised CS and has given it a few more years anyway. I also preferred CS, I think it just flowed better - The added touches of "realism", especially in terms of movement, makes it a little frustrating for anyone converting and takes a bit of pace off the game.

Still one of the best multiplayer FPS's out there, though, especially if you're in a half-decent clan playing in the leagues and cups.

CS:S if you want screaming 12 year olds who think it's just awesome to put the headset output to 10.

Or,

CS 1.6 if you like screaming tournyfags and profags screaming into a headset while the output is also 10.

Both games are overrated crap. Play Team Fortress 2, it's a superior Team-Based Source game.

The only acceptable games in CS:S are on Zombie Servers, other than that it's just a cesspool for screaming 12 year olds yelling at you to "PUT DOWN DAH AWP U NOOOOB".

Don't get either. Get TF2.

No, I'm thinking of CS:S/1.6.

The only difference is that with Counterstrike, you get to chose whether you want the boring game with the pro/tournyfags, or if you want the boring game with the 12 year olds. Halo just has both.
