Affordable day rates and frequent events would be my top 2 requests.

Group rates for an easy alternative to LAN party hassles. Also, decently priced food/beverage options. Can't underestimate tv quality.

Really, just any arcade. The town I live in has an almost dead bowling alley, a movie theater,,, and that's it.

Seriously, this area needs an arcade, desperately.

I agree with GaMeR here, though. The rates and events are what would bring people in and together.

My town is exactly the same. Sketchy bowling alley and a movie theatre.
Some new arcade cabinets that aren't racing games or Dance Dance Revolution would be great, too. Why can't we go back to square one with arcade cabinets? Remember Donkey Kong? Mario Brothers? Pac-Man? How 'bout an original Mortal Kombat arcade cabinet? Anything but the lackluster modern-day cabinets...

I would looooove to have something like that around here. I plan on eventually owning a House of the Dead cabinet, a Time Crisis one, and Centipede lol

There's a mall about ten minutes away from where my Dad lives with a walk-in console arcade, actually. They've got HUGE flat screens, leather recliners, and food/drinks. Five bucks for two hours.
...Not to mention the fact that there's a huge selection of not only retro games, but also brand new ones. Not a bad place, to be honest.

It sucks that even in a large city like NYC, you can't find anything that quite fits the ideal arcade or even LAN center concept. I have been to Modern Pinball though which is pretty cool if you're looking to play pinball.
