    @Mizel nice!

    I want to get my hands on a VR device eventually but haven't decided which one yet. I also don't want to spend much on it either so will probably have to wait it out longer.

    It came with a ton of stuff for free. Otherwise, Hover Junkies (I haven't gotten to play yet, just my husband), Crystal Rift... some other ones I can't remember the names of. But my favorite so far has been Vanishing Realms. It's freakin' amazing! It's an RPG. You get to solve puzzles, fight skeletons with weapons (sword/board, bow, wand), drink/eat, pick up gold-items-potions etc., smash open jars and wooden barrels!!! I can't even describe how amazing it is.

    I went with the Vive because aside from the fact that OR was bought by FB (which was a huge turnoff for me) - I wanted the whole VR room experience and Oculus Rift unfortunately doesn't offer that. I don't want to just sit or stand in place and play a VR game.... I want to explore - legit walk around in my VR world, dammit :p

    In hindsight though, I'm just glad we decided on the Vive because I've heard few good things about the OR. Loads of people have been cancelling OR orders, or exchanging them for a Vive. Just to give some perspective, apparently people that preordered the OR the wholeeeeeeee way back when preorders started, January 6th, ARE STILL WAITING FOR IT lol (it was released 3/28). Pre-orders for the Vive started Feb 26th, was released April 5th, and I received mine April 21st. But the funny thing is, retailers are now receiving OR's to sell in their stores.... which means the preorders aren't even fulfilled yet and instead of fulfilling the rest of those preorders, they're sending units to retailers. What a clusterfudge >_<

    Overall, my experience with the Vive has been amazing. It's everything I've ever wanted in gaming. If anyone is on the fence about whether or not to get it - you will not regret it. I can't talk about it about without being giddy - I can't wait to get home to play it. I'm smiling just typing this thinking about it! It's so freaking awesome :)

    @Mizel good to hear it didn't disappoint. I've yet to try any but I'm pretty sure there are VR events in my area so I'll do some research to give it a whirl soon.

    Lets see, bought a pair of Opinel folding knives for groomsmen gifts for my wedding. Those knives are just a fabulous, stylish and surprisingly practical little tools. For $20 you can do far worse.

    I bought a table that I'm stripping and re-staining for the new place, that's been occupying a lot of my time.

    I need a graphics card sometime soon, I bought Doom on Steam summer sale and for the first time since I was 10 I had a PC fail to run a game at all.

    A toilet! Never thought I'd be excited about that haha We're redoing our downstairs bathroom, so we just bought a new toilet, vanity, floor tile, medicine cabinet/mirror thingy, new lights and paint.

    XD I should put that on my office wall, keep me motivated and inspired :p

    I recently got a PS4 as a gift; so I bought DooM and Bloodborne. I played through DooM and it was AMAZING. Haven't started Bloodborne, yet.

    Also bought a card game called Exploding Kittens. It's as fun as it sounds :p
