Yeah I stuck with the redeeming the Steam versions although for certain titles, you're forced to use Origin...

This kind of thing makes me wish I had a decent computer with Steam. :/

    Ah well, hopefully soon.

Most of these games run fairly well with a $100 or so video card (provided that your other specs are good), which will make a great investment in the long-run as it's hard to get games at such a low price on the console. So start saving :p

I just can't help myself. Even though I already have most of these games, I will buy just about every Humble Bundle! Even if I only get 2 new games, for $5 it's worth it.

    New Humble Weekly Sale.
There's a $125 deal there too, for 48 Paradox games. I guess it's a good deal, provided you have $125 to blow :p

Ohhh yeah... between recent bundles and the Steam Summer Sale, my backlog of games even just to give a shot for a few minutes is huge. Hopefully I'll get a chance to attack some of those on vacation week after next.

Humble Indie Bundle 9. I already have half of these but I might buy it purely for Fez, it's cheaper than the game alone, plus they always add more games near the end.

Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, A Virus Named Tom, Bastion and Limbo have been added to the current bundle. So now it's basically a bundle of some of the best indie games ever. And you're completely right in assuming I'd recommend getting it, just for Bastion. Really though, it's worth getting even if you have all but one considering all of these games are valued $5 or over on their own. 10 games for $5? Hell yes.

Agreed. Bastion alone is worth the $5. That was such an awesome game.

These bundles make it worthwhile to invest in a decent video card :)

Has anyone ever played the F.E.A.R. games? 2 and 3 are in the newest HB and I'm not sure if I want to keep them or give them away. To be honest.... the game looks straight up retarded. It looks like a crappy version of CoD meets Dead Space. The monsters look lame, the main character seems lame, the graphics are terrible. Buuuuut I try to not judge a book by it's cover all the time.

I played the multiplayer version of the first one, wasn't too bad from what I recall. As for the single player, I believe it was the 2nd one and found it to be a bit creepy, however, didn't complete the game so this was based off only a few hours of play.

I don't remember thinking it was crap though, so worse case scenario, I'd say it was average.

My trusted review sources (especially PC Gamer) have said they are pretty meh. FEAR 1, however, is certainly in my top 5 favorite 3D shooters of all time.

Figures the first one wasn't in the bundle, dammit! I read reviews/metascores for all 3. They pretty said the same thing you guys are. 1 was a good game and 2 and 3 aren't that great. Oh well, I'll at least give them a shot. And I'll keep and eye out for the first one to go on sale :)

That's why I bought it. Despite all of the reviews I read saying it wasn't a very good game, it was only $1 and I wanted to try it. I played it for a couple of hours.... it was not very good to say the least. I doubt I'll even ever go back to it. But at least it was only $1! :D
