is there a way to turn off cursing in tom clancy's splinter cell conviction?

    my parents wont let me play it anymore because of all the cursing. can i do something about that? thanks for the advice.

    There doesn't seem to be a language filter available nor a way to tweak just the voice acting so unfortunately you're going to have to play it mute if you can't resolve it by talking to your parents about it.

    I dont think you can take away the curse words.

    Funny how your parents only seems to care about the curse words and not the "mindless video game violence" :p

    Well you can get some headphones and maybe turn off subtitles

    I wouldn't wanna play a game without a sound, it feels.. let me say... NOT RIGHT. Just play while shes not home.

    I wonder if future consoles will have some sort of parental censor feature where developers will be required to note all suggestive instances in order to enable this which would essentially filter it all out.

    Interesting, but I could see that ruining a lot of games. Games like Saints Row III would probably become unplayable if everything suggestive was removed from them.
