    http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/

You can download GTA I, II & Wild Metal.

I'd recommend GTA 2, if you liked the PS1 version you'll love this one! The graphics are way better than the PS1 version.

I saw this with the replies and figured it was posted by someone who posted once and never was seen again (by the way is there a word for such people, if not there should be).

But sweet link none the less.

Wow hard to believe how big of a jump they had between GTA 2 and GTA III kind of reminds me of the jump from plain ordinary saints row 1 having only cars to drive and being quite frankly, boring and saints row 2 being this vibrant crazy new era version of san andreas

I remember reading about this somewhere.
I also remember people playing GTA on the library computers when I was in High School ^^

I wonder if Rockstar will add GTA III to this list once the next GTA hits.

Also, a little known fact is that GTA II does support multiplayer if you use this: http://gtamp.com/gta2/gta2-multiplayer/

Closest thing to this for a lot of games is Good Old Games. Such a pro company.

Sad to see that they stopped this service, but that's business for you, why give games away to loyal fans when you can resell them on the PlayStation Network?

Wow, didn't realize they pulled the plug on this.

What's strange is that there's not even a way to buy the classic versions on the PC unless I'm missing something as I see something on Steam but the oldest GTA there is III.

Nah, they have Grand Theft Auto 1 on Steam.
It's weird though because they misspelled it as "Retro City Rampage DX." :p
