OK so i know there are already a few forums with this same question but it hasn't been asked for a while.

So what is you favorite non-violent video game for xbox 360?
Or what are some good non-violent videos games for xbox 360?

    Here,s what i,m looking for:
any non violent game for xbox 360 that you like or have heard good things about.
can be already released, or it can be in the pipelines to be released.
non-violent, meaning NO blood, No gore, No bad language, and nothing above a Teen rating.
has to be on xbox 360.
can be on xbox original if it is compatible with the xbox 360.
    games of any genre.

So that,s what i,m looking for. and yes i know there aren,t many games like this for xbox 360, but i dont like anything too violent.
any help is much appreciated. Cheers!

A safe bet would be almost every licensed sports game (FIFA, Madden etc.) but with that genre aside, the Xbox Live Arcade platform has a lot of good ones depending on your tastes.

Rocket Riot is pretty fun if you want something with weapon combat but mins any serious violence. There are also various updated versions of classics such as Sonic The Hedgehog 4 or even Boulder Dash-XL. Most of the XBLA games are under $20 as well and usually give you a good amount of playtime.

Thanks, and yeah i really like the racing type games but, by the time i get all the ones i want (burnout paradise, burnout revenge, Forza4, PRG4, dirt3, need for speed hot pursuit, need for speed shift, midnight club la, Driver san francisco, Split/second and Blur) I will be pretty tired of racing games.

I have never played any games from xbox 360 arcade. Those ones you mentioned sounded good. Are there any you particularly like?[hr]
What do you do in the viva pinata games? they have always seemed strange to me. are they actually fun?

it's not easy to explain, you basically are given this really messed up piece of land and it's your job to fix it up and make it look good and to have creatures live on it. You build houses and make the creatures mate and protect your garden, it's really fun but the way I'm explaining it sounds stupid. I'm sure there is a demo you can download off of Xbox live and the game it's self is really cheap at this point.

Alan Wake would probably be a good. It's rated T and I've heard lots of good things about it. And if you're interested in a rpg I would The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Sure it might have a an M rating, but it is undeserved as the combat is bloodless and there is almost no sexual content or nudity. The sexual content is really just innuendo and references and the only language I remember hearing on it was like one "d" word.

You know what's great fun? Pac-Man Championship Edition.

I was talking to myself, had a smile on my face and even laughed at the ridiculous speed that builds up. It's crazy, try the demo, it's been a while sense I felt that much joy from one game. This is a professional, I'm guessing, but there are different difficulty levels that makes it easier to run the board like this guy does. There's also Championship Edition XD, which I believe is even better.

I love fifa 12! Basically any sports game is pretty good, with some exceptions. I love some of the classic arcade games as well.

A lot of those classic remakes contain the original game and a new take on it, that's not the same Pacman you pumped quarters into :p

With that said...XBLA file sizes vary. Some games may be under 200MB, others might be a few gigs. I wouldn't recommend a 4GB 360 for this reason as after a handful of games, the HDD will be full. Luckily you can delete the games and redownload them later if you're out of space though. Just don't delete the game saves.

OK thats cool. pacman and some of those older arcade games sure do bring back a lot of memories. I was going to get the 4gb console and then get a hard drive at a later time. is that a bad idea? how does the XBLA downloads work? do you make an account? or does it just know your xbox # or something?

It would actually be cheaper if you bought the 4GB console and then buy a hard drive afterwards, if you buy online you could find some decent deals.

If you want to buy content from Xbox Live you must make a free XBL Silver account. Once you do this you can either attach a credit/debit card to your account to buy Microsoft Points, the currency used to buy content on Xbox Live, or you can buy pre-paid Xbox Live cards at most retailers. These cards have codes on the back of them that can be redeemed for Microsoft Points, which makes them useful if you don't want to use your own credit/debit card.

There is also a premium XBL Gold account that you can subscribe $60 a year for, which lets you play games online. There are XBL Gold pre-paid cards also.

Yeah that's why i wanted to get the 4gb and then get a hard drive later. so i would have more game money:) and thanks for explaining how the XBLA works. it clears a lot up for me.

Are you including Kinect games? There are TONS on the Kinect that I love, and most aren't violent.

Bejeweled 2 and Hexic 2 are actually fun puzzle games. Much better on Xbox 360 version than the cheap flash games you seen online. And, non-violent, pretty much just a puzzle type game.
