Well I played this a little more, and I'm getting used to it.. It's not bad if you play a smaller map where the other people don't really get a chance to use a sniper..

BUT, it's still possible for people to hack the game, and that kinda spoils the fun.. (I played a game where the whole team stood around the guy shooting him like crazy, and he killed us all)

It just shows the lack of trying with people. If they can't win the first time they play a game, they hack into it and cheat.

I played a guy who was flying around the map like superman, then I played a guy who was moving and shooting at 3x speed or so.
Halo actually has HAX, it has the people who only lag when they are chasing you if you sneak up on them, you never experience slowing.

Lag switches may be cheap, but they are easy to spot and report as well if you know what to look for and what's going on in-game.

True, but they are still common, and reporting them doesn't change the fact that they beat you once already(Still worth reporting them)

As do I. People who are using standby as means to cheat on Halo 3 are easy to spot as well, as long as you know what you're looking for and it's not just lag that shows up. When I was a practice captain for my clan, we had to know what to look for.

Would it be possible to connect a controller to the computer and assign certain keys etc to the the joysticks, buttons, and triggers of the controller? If so, then that'd make me a bit happier with the game..

I doubt that would work to be honest. I've yet to see an FPS PC game that actually works better with a controller, well at least for me.

Mouse has inferior control of movement, but MUCH quicker Aiming.

d00d this game is the shit, i started playing it last night. just got done pwning a server lol. first round 30 and 5 lol 2nd round 30 and 7 lol. im already a private first class. bought to go up. srsly start playing this it pwns. and lemme know what your names are too. btw i loooove getting accused of hacks lol.
