I know that they're saying it's exactly the same, just with an added dungeon and made for the 2 screens and touch doodad, But I reckon a complete makeover (i.e. just graphics and 3D) would be awesome... I don't know if anyone actually heard of this, but they were closed down by Square:

Sorry, what I posted isn't the ds game.. that was an individual project that was running years ago, but Square made them cancel it.. shame really.

I'm not. only Square had the sense not to make exact clones of DBZ characters. The only thing CT has in common with DBZ and it's characters as far as i've ever noticed, is the manga style avatars, that alot of old-school RPGs used.

its about damn time this came out. now if they could only make a new oddworld game that doesnt suck... revolving around the original characters might help that... but thats a different story.

I was actually discussing this with someone, and we came up with the idea that the reason they're re-releasing it is so that people who never got the opportunity to play it can, so they can then make a proper sequel to it (and don't anyone DARE say that Chrono Cross was a sequel)... Just a theory, but IMO, possibility.
