lol pretty soon we will have to run computers with a generator and rip cords. lol I cant wait for that day to come....computers now take soooo much power its insane!

I didn't know they did. Well, if you customize them quite a bit, I guess they would eat a lot of juice.

well, 800 Watts is alot to me i guess...and the way it looks to run that 9800 you would at least need maybe a 860 watt...but i have seen 1000 watts....maybe it isnt alot of power to run a pc but i dunno.

lol its an investment I will give it that...but im just glad I use my pc for more than just gaming. I didnt spend all that money to waste for 6 months worth of upgrading. ^_^

lol in a way it's almost like we're going back to the early days of computers when they took up a whole room except those machines were a lot weaker in terms of performance.

But unless you're working with multimedia software or games such cards aren't necessary. I remember back in 2000 or 2001 my computer only had 1MB of video RAM lol.

yeah well my computer is out of RAM so that means making a trip to the store and grabbing some more :)
