Something's wrong with uploading avatars!

I use tinypic to upload my avatar and I try to use the img but everytime it says URL not specified or something like that. Basically, it's not accepting it.

Yes, the file size is under 2o kb and the size itself is under 2oo x 2oo.

I upload it from my computer but it distorts the avatar I had before [which is me :p]

Which bit of code do you use when trying to use Tinypic?

And when trying to upload straight to the forum, is it under 200pixels big? or is it in a file type that works? (i.e. png, jpg, etc)

Well there's you're problem.. you can use the IMG code for sigs, but for avatars you have to use the "Direct Link for Layouts". Give that a try.

It should say "Use Direct Link for Layouts" in the Edit Avatar...

Well using that exact wording would only apply if they used TinyPic, I'll put direct image URL instead as that would apply to all image hosts.
