It seems there's some problems about what's appropriate and what's not.

Obviously blatant nudity, or racism is not allowed in avatars. However, the problem starts when something like Dizzy's current avatar springs about. Technically the woman in his avatar is not revealing anything as her chest is covered and she has a skirt on.

So if you're offended by it, reply to this thread and state why. If not, then state your opinion on this issue as well.

Based on the feedback I get I'll determine if such avatars will be permitted in the future, and if so, I'll see if there's a way that those offended by it can block it.

To those that made the point about it being offensive to children, you have to be at least 13 years old to legally be a member of this forum. That law actually applies to all forums hosted in the USA I believe. And at 13 you should have hopefully an understanding of the human body. Therefore seeing a bit of skin should not be a shocker, at the same time though I'm aware that some may find it offensive due to religious beliefs, as well as other personal beliefs.

Her butt is showing but that's it. It's not showing like, the 'whole' part of it. Take the episode of Family Guy, for instance, when there was the nude neighbors. They were cartoon drawn, and some scenes with the characters parading around naked, but with only viewing it from behind [only the butt showing].

My thoughts on the definition of censoring nudity is the reproductive organs for both men and women; and the breasts for women.

Anyone else?

really though ... no issues, I've seen way worse in my time.

I mean I can see how it could offend some people, or even be considered a little to risque for the younger kids on the boards but as long as its not nudity it shouldn't be an issue. Just to throw it in though, whether or not you have an understanding of the human body I still wouldn't want my 13 year old looking at pictures of girls like that. But how I feel and how a parent of someone who post's here feels are 2 different things and I can really only speak for myself in that aspect.

My opinion honestly is that pictures like Dizzy's is fine. As everyone else said, full on nudity is a bit different than a bit of "rear-end"(for lack or a nice word) showing. Like sure... If i had a 13y.o. kid, I probably wouldn't want 'em lookin at it. AND also the religious part of the whole thing could complicate things a little later on. But from what I've seen, no one has really complained about it in the past, so I think things like Dizzy's should be let be.

Although personally, her ass is a little out of proportion. Maybe if her back was a little bigger it wouldn't be such an issue, but then again I'd have to see her rack to be able to understand how the proportions would work so yeah I mean maybe it's the angle or something because, to me it's a little...

I agree with this, nowadays most cartoons (Both children's and the supposedly more adult ones like Family Guy) do have that "butt-nudity" where characters are conveniently hidden by random items, and this happens in "real" shows(Read- Not cartoons) as well, but butts are always there (Because clearly Butts = HUMOR!) and it doesn't really affect the showing of these things, so other than full on nudity there shouldn't be much of a problem

There is a HUGE (again, pun intended) difference between a cartoon and a girl posing sexy. Just because a kid sees humor in Bart Simpson mooning people, doesn't mean it's okay for them too look at a girl stickin her booty out for the world to see.

One is intended for humor, the other is intended for other things. So while a valid point, you have to realize that there is a difference between the two.

I would like to see America become less censored, after living in Germany there are things that I disagree with how we do things here. But there are certain things for kids to look at and adults to look at. With that being said, again I don't feel this avatar is an issue but it obviously has been brought up by someone as an issue or this thread wouldn't have been made.
