I really like the 360, but I don't care at all for PS3.

I think I'm like half-and-half.

I currently only have the small PS2 but I play it for all of it's potential. And when it's gone, I kind of bitch and cry and get just a TINY bit depressed... lol

But I just love the computer more, haha. There was a period of time where I didn't have a computer... without internet. Worst years. And even then, just recently, like 2 months ago it was finally fixed. I had internet that disconnected FREQUENTLY no matter what. Blah blah blah... chat with me if you wanna know more XD

I had a similiar problem with my old dial up I had before the DSL.
I was on about 3 to 4 hours and it would consistently disconnect every hour.
I love my consoles more than my computer, but I wouldn't give up either one.

As for consoles, who gives a crap who makes the thing that runs what you want to play it's about the games. Granted the consoles cater to certain type of crowds:

Wii - Casual/eclectic gamers
Xbox - Casual - Hardcore gamers (generally male 16-35)
PS3 - Idiots (jkjk - sony lovers have no sense of humor)

But I used to be a fangirl for the Final Fantasy series. I have 1-12 (yes, even the ones not released in the US), but 12 sucked ass.

Everyone was raving about how the new battle system was awesome and blah blah blah...dude, it was like f**king character autopilot.

I beat FF12 with my big toe while eating a sandwich.

I knew that the series was going all we're-too-awesome-to-ever-make-mistakes style when they came out with X-2. I would have loved to punch the guy who proposed the game, "So then, it's just the girls from the games, and they sing and dance and change their clothes all the time and it's all GIRL POWER! Woo! They high five one another and there's this guy who looks like Tidus but he's not Tidus (the obilatory crappy plot twist look-a-like). So Yuna (in her uber slutty new outfit) must sing her way to finding her soul mate with her BFFs at her side!" </rant>

So now that my fangirl fantasies have been crushed by Final Fantasy I don't really depend on the name of a title to make it worth anything.

But GOW2 better be mutherfuxing good...I needs to chainsaws sum sunsabeeches!

Well, I'm not really a fanboy. I just really hate the PS3, and the blind idiotic fanboys that inevitably show up along with it.

Microsoft and Nintendo can't really be compared. Nintendo are doing all the party games, and fun cutesy stuff, while Microsoft are doing the FPS's and the "realism" games that get 4 hardcore gamers around a TV. And of course, Microsoft are kicking Sony's ASS.

Personally, I own a Wii, but I am seriously considering buying an XBox 360.

Well it doesn't hurt to have two different consoles. It will always be, some games are only on the Wii, others only on an Xbox, and tohers only for PS3. So if you have a very specific taste, thats the consoles you buy. And buy another one when you want to venture out. Simple really.
Wii is beating Microsoft, and they are both beating Sony.
Sony never thought it would happen.

Save up and you should be able to afford a Wii at least...Try getting a used one though, it will be a lot cheaper. I'm sure there's bound to be at least one of your friends who doesn't want their Wii/Xbox 360 any more and is willing to sell it at a good price.
