Although mangas are far more episodes after animes, I prefer animes. :)

Definitely anime.

I like to see the real animations which take like a thousand pages and hours to draw.

Anime is good but i think Mangas cover the story better, and you get to read it in your own tempo

I myself prefer anime as well, as you get a whole lot more out of it.. If you've got good voice actors for the characters, it conveys things like emotions and such more easily... Plus, it's quite the opposite for me than what Cactaur has, I can get anime fine around here (good ol' internet), but manga is scarce.

Plus, majority of the time I like to be lazy, so I watch it, rather than taking the effort to read. :P

I prefer Manga, because for one I already really like comics over TV, and so that I don't spend hours trialling through filler.

I think the only times I've watched an anime rather than read it has been with Fooly Cooly, because it's only 6 episodes anyway, and Full Metal Alchemist, because the anime and manga differ quite a lot.

An example of the manga being better- The Manga for Dragon Ball and DBZ. Since you don't have 10 minutes of explination of some random thing, or of two guys shouting at each other, it's simply your staple 'Shonen' manga- a bunch of guys beating the crap out of each other with ridiculous energy attacks.

i have some DB books but ive never seen the anime and i must admit that im tired of those ridicilous power atacks like 10 x Kame-hame-ha and all lazer beams and stuff.
And i sometimes find it more fun and relaxing sitting in my comfy reading chair Drinking hot chocolate and Reading a nice manga instead of watching it on my stiff office chair watching animes on my Computers.

I Find Naruto and Hellsing one of the best Mangas ive read so far. Im thinking about reading Blade too, looks pretty neat.

Well I've recently ordered a Limited Edition thingy of Code Geass, which comes with the first Season of the show, as well as the manga series.. So I guess I'll be able to see if there's any difference there..

And just remembered, I think I recall seeing 3 Dragon Ball manga on the new books rack in the library yesterday....

I prefer neither because 90% of all Anime/Manga is horrible. There are 10-15 good series that I've seen, but most are just that rehashed "JOHN YOU MUST KILL THE DEMONS" and Superpowered sword combat stuff, or a show about Japanese Schoolgirls, and sometimes both...
