Yeah I forgot to mention I've been playing this for the last week.

It's pretty decent, a lot funner than WoW, however in its current stage the bugs/issues are too rampant to get the same effect as WoW.



Gameplay-wise, it's a lot more active than passive WoW. You have to hit buttons to attack left, right, or center (and later, lower right and lower left), and the abilities and spells require you two hit a combo of attack buttons in a timed sequence to get the desired effect, making the game about skill, not about making your epeen feel big because you can grind quicker than everyone else.

I haven't got far (Level 22 Conqueror), but I hear the massive battles are epic. Huge siege engines (catapults, trebuchets, rams) attack the enemys walls, while Rangers (think Hunters in WoW, or just call them Archers) on the other side pick off your troops coming for the walls (Rangers have longer range than in WoW, and have a toggle able first person view for extra-long range shots), and if you don't want to be in a guild that has to build up all that stuff over weeks and weeks, you can always be a mercenary for hire and have guilds pay you to fight for them.



Mounts are also much cooler.



Stay on WoW for now, the game is a little buggy, but once this game gets smoothed out I expect all of you steers and queers to hop over and play with the big boys on Cimmeria PVP-RP server.

Looks like this might be the next WoW.

Unfortunately, my PC doesn't have the specs. to handle it so it'll be a while until I can play it in my own PC. And in case anyone is wondering, yes there is a monthly fee ~$15 USD.

DAMMIT!!! Why can't they make a spectacular looking FREE mmorpg... sigh.

Looks like this would be an early next gen of WoW. Great screenshots.
