So do you go for every achievement in a 360 game, or doesn't it matter to you?

for me, I don't really go for all of them, mostly because I haven't found a game that i want to replay on the 360 yet, bar The Orange Box.
that being said i do enjoy going for the fun achievements such as the gnome achievement in Episode 2 of Half life 2.

Also, would you prefer it, if 360 demo's came with 1-3 Achievements exclusive to the demo? I'd like that to happen myself, would be kinda cool.

The demo idea is kinda cool, however they probably won't ever implement it.

As for achievements in general, I rarely purposely try to get one. If I'm bored then I'll probably take a look at the list and try to see which one I'm close to achieving. But aside from that it's just a number to me, an unimportant one. I have some friends on the other hand who are obsessed with the concept. They even rent crappy games just to get the achievements lol.

There's only one game that I've gotten all 1000 achievement points on, and that's Phantasy Star: Universe.. And that's because if you plan on finishing the game, it's inevitable.

Otherwise, I don't particularly care.. I think the only time I did care was when my brother had more than me.. Aah, sibling rivalry.

i only go for all the acheivements if the game keeps me interested all the time

TES4: Oblivion's Acheivments are usualy boring :( like, get that rank in that guild and close that oblivion gate. I dosent seem pretty fun unlike HL2 Acheivments. But having high gamerscore is some sort of status i guess ^^
Me and my brother always fight about who gets the most Gamerscore xD

Well the whole game is time consuming...

I don't know too many people that do. Even with Nintendo games, I don't always go for all the achievements or goals.

Yeah but the problem with Nintendo is that there's no "real" record to show off your achievements and progress in the game. Therefore there's less of an "incentive" to go all out. Whereas in the Xbox 360 you can pull out your tag and it'll show what games you've played, what you've done etc.

I'm gonna try and go for the "The One Free Bullet" achievement next, in Half Life episode one, complete the game firing one bullet only.
