RE: PS1 Vs. Nintendo 64
I liked the PS1 primarily for it's fighting games, the N64 only had a few fighting games
Bloody Roar, Tekken, Marvel vs. Capcom, and Street Fighter were some of the good ones that the PS1 offered.
But overall N64 is still my favorite due to it's shooters and fun offline multiplayer games.

RE: PS1 Vs. Nintendo 64
A lot of people complained about the N64's graphics, but I thought they were actually better than the PS1. This was only true in certain games though...
I still remember the first time I saw Mario in 3D lol..

RE: PS1 Vs. Nintendo 64
Did anyone here trade in their N64 for a PS1?
I remember my cousin doing that...He was fooled by the shiny CDs lol. Too bad the cartridges on the N64 become a problem after a while (especially if it's a used game/console) or else I'd probably buy a used one right now. I've even seen some websites selling new ones, but too bad they are a bit over priced
Luckily a handful of those N64 games are being made available on the Wii and even some DS versions have been released (Super Mario 64 for instance).

I selected the wrong one lol. PS1 is a better system because with N64 I feel that you are being held back. Sure you get good games but most are about Mario, Fox or Zelda. You only get Nintendo games. But with PS1 you get games from all over the place! FF, Coolborders, James F*cking Bond!

I remember many good games in N64 that now are copied and published by DS.

PS1 was one of the greatest gaming systems ever, N64 had some classics but nowhere near what PS1 had

N64 was way better... I still have it at my holiday house so when I go down there I spend my time playing that haha. Don't forget Mortal Kombat, that was a good game haha. Super smash bros was so cool, too - I'm pro at that hehe
