The average fall rate of something is 3.4 or 4.3 or something meters per second.. DEFINITELY NOT 100 feet per second... But you also have to take into consideration the air resistance of when he has the parachute open, etc... I don't know how long it'd take, but what I just wanted to point out that he wouldn't be going at 100 feet per second. :P

@Aryon yes I know that. Some people do fall at 100 feet per second. But the average is 32 feet per second.
